  6.                      The Disk Mag for Amiga Musicians
  7.      AM/FM has now been taken over and will be published by MIDICraft
  8.                        and called MIDICraft Magazine
  9.  
  10. The Amiga disk based  magazine   produced   by   Bj°rn  A.Lynne  in Norway,
  11. called 'Amiga Musicians Freeware  Magazine   (AM/FM)'   has  due  to  other
  12. commitments, decided to cease publishing after  19  issues!  After a series
  13. of  communications  MIDICraft  have  decided  to  take  over  the  helm  of
  14. publishing  the  magazine  but  the   AM/FM    logo   is   being   dropped!
  15. Instead,   the   magazine   will   be   called  'MIDICraft  Magazine'-  The
  16. Disk   Mag   for   Amiga   Musicians.     Previous distributors  both  here
  17. in   the   U.K.   and   overseas    of  AM/FM   have been contacted and the
  18. U.K.,distibutors  are    currently   stocking   the    magazine.   We  have
  19. published, to date (Feb  1995),  3   MIDICraft Magazine issues, 3 MIDICraft
  20. Sample disks and  1  MIDICraft  Special   disk  (Look  out  for  these   at
  21. your previous  distribution   library    in    your   country!)   The   new
  22. MIDICraft Magazine will of course  retain  the  look  and   feel of the old
  23. magazine. The disk mag will contain  a  specially printed label as proof of
  24. Licenceware, will retain  the  menu  layout,  and disk contents/directories
  25. structures as before. The price will stay the same as before!
  26.  
  27. Moreover, the new MIDICraft Magazine   will   try   to  retain  some of the
  28. better aspects, such as Reviews,  News  and  Hints  and Tips sections.  The
  29. new MIDICraft Magazine will also retain the Amiga tracker music element and
  30. strive to  support  both  the  tracker  format   as   well   as   the  much
  31. improved OctaMED Professional format.  MIDI and Music-X  software  and  the
  32. new  Notator-X data formats will continue being featured in the magazine in
  33. most sections including FREE Music-X and  MIDI  files  on each issue of the
  34. magazine.

  36. As well as the   regular   Editorial   and   features  the  readers letters
  37. will be expanded so come on get  writing  and  send  those  letters  to  us
  38. here at our address below! (You  can  use  the readers  letters section for
  39. your MIDI software  or  hardware  problems!)  We  are   also   looking  for
  40. musical contributors but you don't  have   to   be   a  musician!   If  you
  41. can  write  in  an  interesting and  informative way about anything musical
  42. which you  may think will be  of  interest to MIDICraft readers then please
  43. contact  us.   If  you  are  Amiga  musicians  and  have  some music you've
  44. composed  or  arranged  for  any of the Amiga music/MIDI software then send
  45. it   to   us    with    a    brief    description    of    the   music  and
  46. software/sample/MIDI voicing/Channel setup for   easy  recognition.  If you
  47. have recorded your music to  either  cassette   tape   or  CD  then you can
  48. also send us review copies  and   we   will  strive  to  produce  unbiased,
  49. objective reviews! (Although  as  The  Craft  Brothers,  we  have  recently
  50. recorded our own 'A Drop in the  Ocean'  CD project we would like to  think
  51. that we are simply musicians  JUST  LIKE YOU!!!) Computer  programmers  who
  52. have  coded   musical  orientated  Public  Domain  or  Commercial  Software
  53. Programs  or  Utilities,  can  have  their work featured on the magazine as
  54. either  completed or demo versions. (Please include program documentation!)
  55. Hopefully a large   musician   readership  can  be  targeted  directly. All
  56. contributors whose work is   featured  on  the  magazine  will receive that
  57. particular issue of the MIDICraft Magazine for FREE.

  59. Sample disks are also be provided and   are being be produced as before but
  60. with an emphasis on the users need!

  62. Special disks are again   be   published    and   may  cover  anything from
  63. readers Modules, to Professional  MIDI  files  and  or  really useful Amiga
  64. music utilities!

  67. Initially Seasoft  Computing,  Valley  PD,   17   BIT   and  Sleepy  Hollow
  68. Software in the   U.K.   have   agreed   to    distribute    the  MIDICraft
  69. Magazine..  Overseas distributors  for  the  MIDICraft  Magazine  are being
  70. sought!  If you run  an  Amiga  PD  Software  library  and  would  like  to
  71. become MIDICraft Magazine  distributors  then  please  get  in touch..  The
  72. MIDICraft  Magazine  can also be  obtained  from MIDICraft ourselves..  The
  73. examples  MIDICraft  Magazine   issue   #1,  MIDICraft  Sample  disk #1 and
  74. MIDICraft Special Disk #1  can be  found  on  the Weird Science Multi Media
  75. Tool Kit  #2  CD  ROM..   (Full   documentation  about the Magazine, Sample
